Backstory Estelle's human mother met her elven father while travelling through Kyonin on her way to Andoran from her native Varisia. She moved on before she realized she was pregnant, and Estelle never met her father. As a young adult, the capricious Estelle paid a visit to a Calistrian temple on a whim. She had decided to explore the notorious elven religion as a way of connecting with her paternal ancestry. To her surprise, it was a perfect fit for her, especially Calistria's emphasis on flexibility and freedom. She eventually became a devoted champion of Calistria.
