These are some possible other kins that have not yet been statted up:
- Ettins (gigantic people of some sort)
- Merpeople or fishpeople of some kind
- Minotaurs
- Centaurs
- Fire elemental salamanders
- People of stone
Kuija
Kuijas are a smallish Kin with a furry lower body and pronghorn-like horns. They have a short white-furred tail. They are very fast-moving and have a wide field of vision.
Special Traits:
- Smol: Kuijas are of Small size and count only as half a group member (rounding up) for purposes of calculating their group’s size when Camping.
- Fast: Kuijas have exceptional running speed, giving them a movement rate of 25 meters per round. When traveling on foot, a Kuija may use the faster of the Mounted and By Foot columns for the terrain.
- Horned: A Kuija may make unarmed attacks with their horns as if they were Medium sized. In other words, their horns use the Beast Attack Table, inflict Piercing Criticals, and have a clumsy range of 2 and a maximum result of 120. Use the Brawl skill.
- Large-eyed: Kuijas’ large, high-set eyes give them a 320° field of vision, granting a +10 to Perception rolls and preventing attackers from gaining any benefits from Flanking them.
Suggested Cultures: Pastoral, Plains, Desert, Hill
Dragon
Young dragons have a basically humanoid bodyplan, but scaly patches on their skin, clawed hands, and horns make their draconic nature plain. Dragons do not age, and only very rarely fall ill. Eventually, some of them will grow powerful enough and [TODO: what do they have to do to become a great dragon] and become a Great Dragon, growing a tail and scales covering their entire body, and growing greatly in size and power.
Special Traits:
- Breath of Fire: Once per hour, you may, as a full action, breath fire in a straight line 20 meters long. Make an Attack Roll on the Area Attack with CMB equal to your TSR bonus against each target in the area of effect, starting with the nearest. The fire breath stops when it has hit (as in, inflicted non-zero damage on) either two creatures of Small or Medium size, or one of Large or greater size. At TBD level, this becomes a cone of TBD width at its end, and [TODO describe adjustment to the obstruction mechanics].
- Skin of Scale: Your scales are as protective as Medium Armor. When attacked while wearing Light or No Armor, you may choose after the roll whether the attacker must use the resulting corresponding to Medium Armor or your worn Armor Type.
- Claws of Iron: Your fingers end in sharp claws. When used for attacks, they use the Beast Attack Table, inflict Cut or Pierce Critical Strikes, and have a Clumsy Range of 1 and a Maximum Result of 120 (based on your size). Use the Brawl skill to determine CMB.
Suggested Cultures: Deep, Desert, Arctic, or Fey
Sparek (bird people)
Special Traits:
- Great Wings: When lightly encumbered or unencumbered, you may fly at a movement rate of 60 meters per round. When traveling using flight, use the Mounted/Rough Terrain column regardless of the terrain, modified by the Winds table. You may forage or hunt without suffering any penalty to your speed. TKTK flying combat details
- Mutualism: When rolling to Help an ally of another Kin, you grant twice as much benefit: +20 on a Success or +40 on an Outstanding Success.
Suggested Cultures: City, Pastoral, or Plains
